There are two different types of people in the world – the scientists and the existentialists. Alright, so there are numerous types of other people in the world as well; but for this article’s sake I’m dividing society into those two personalities. It will become clear why I’ve chosen these two options.
The scientists deal with fact. They are the logical, analytic types who believe in what they can see and touch. If they aren’t able to touch it, see it or perceive it as a tangible substance; then it’s probably not true. Fact? Fact. We owe much of our modern day existence to these scientists and they are vitally important in the medical, technological and economic industries.The existential personality deals with the complete opposite of what the scientist handles. They prefer to question the unknown and, in addition to seeing tangible facts, like to believe in the unseen and intangible. One of the most controversial of the existentialist personalities is that of the psychic or clairvoyant.
The person is described as a clairvoyant if they are able to ‘see into the future’ or have ‘visions’. These individuals are able to predict certain situations that will occur and have been known to offer advice to people using this gift. Unfortunately, many people have played on this and duped unsuspecting customers out of large sums of money. This has given clairvoyance a tainted reputation, and true clairvoyants are often criticized.
As is mentioned, clairvoyance is treated with shallow disregard nowadays and falls into the realm of silly fantasies. In fact, it has become so careless that various websites are now offering clairvoyant tests to determine whether you have a psychic gift or not. How a few set questions can predict this, I have no idea.
What is a Clairvoyant Test?
However, psychics are required to be tested and registered in order to practice as a clairvoyant. These clairvoyant tests are carried out by the psychic association and involve answering a set of theoretical questions, as well as completing several practical exercises. The individual is required to read the task then reply immediately. By replying immediately you will be eliminating all logical analysis of different answers and sticking with your gut instinct.
The clairvoyant test must be completed before any registration can take place with the association. If you are not registered as a clairvoyant, you will not be able to open a business or hold a license. If you are visiting a psychic, it is imperative that you check their qualifications and registration to ensure you are working with a trained and tested clairvoyant. As was mentioned, many psychics are faking it and only looking to con you out of money.
So, as much as I would love to have psychic powers and predict the future, I don’t. What I am pleased about is that due to clairvoyant tests I will be safe when visiting a clairvoyant for a reading. I suppose science and existentialism pulled together to make this experience secure for all parties.
